The Gaslamp Quarter was busy with Pimp N' Hoe type characters running up and down Fifth Ave Saturday night. It truly seemed electric and a good night to party off the weekend. Fortunate for me that is why I was out in the town and the destination...another Aaron Channey presents event. However, this wasn't just some ordinary event. AaronChaney presents was hosting the "I LUV Nerds" event and obviously there was nerds hanging out and being themselves. It was a great time and to make things better there was great people in the venue.
For starters Aaron Channey was in the building and in my past experience(being around the guy) I've noticed that he has a taste for outgoing party celebrations. This was unique for me because I don't always see "out going" guys out to have great time and setting the tempo for the rest of the crowd by dancing to the music and being boys. He's truly a fun person to be around. Secondly, Mr. PJ of Afterdarc was up to his antics spreading the night life cheer. Managing the talent(models) and making sure everyone is having a good time seemed like his main priority. If you have not run onto this guy you can ask anyone around and they will all agree that he is out so that YOU have a great night. He is a great character. Both of these guys are doing good things to our night life and I support and endorse everything they do...from Hard Rock to Voyeur expect a new night life.
Last but definitely not least Nicolette Nightingale graced us by co-hosting the event and bringing a splash of tainted beauty and a twist of entropy. Nicolette is co-partner of the industries newest and most talked about clothing line, Tainted Entropy, and has been featured in main stream publications including working with the industries most talented photographers. I am grateful that she took time out of her night to show me some new photos produced by photographer Alejandro Zavala who also attended the event. She dropped some exciting news that she and her partner Chloe Hemmat (Creator of the Vixen Inc. Dancers)now have their clothing brand showcased at The Local Boutique in La Lolla on Prospect next door to Forever Fondu. I highly recommend that you get familiar with this clothing line and expect more to come from the fashionista minds of these two young ladies.
One last note...DJ Seize...thanks for being the Party Rocker that you are....your blends of electro, party rock and hip hop always short circuit the music stereo system...LMAO...you rock my friend!!! Its good to hang out with old friends and new. Especially when it is a surprise. I ran into friends from my old Naval Command and friends I had not seen since Mansion Wednesdays at Red Circle. We laughed, drank, lounged in VIP and made fun of all our spam on FB, MySpace and Twitter. :P God was good last night and another successful event under the AaronChaney presents belt. ....oh yeah, the $200 prize. I don't remember her name but I do know that if anyone else could have been better dressed it wold have been Steve Urkel from Family Matters. "Did I do that?" LOL!
For those who made it thanks for coming out and showing your support. For those who were not able to attend we look forward to seeing you at the next show..... OH YEAH, get ready for a new event called "CIRCUS" launching at San Diego's newest night club Voyuer. This event will top everything in San Diego!!!!
